  Had a wonderful time yesterday at Chalet des erables, unlike what people say that it is a run down place I did not see this, the buildings appear to be well maintained, the grounds are clean and a great place for families to go. The rides appear to be supplied by Amusement Spectacular which are seen all summer long in most shopping centers and were in very well working order. The train ride is nice and the even pretend to have the old west with cowboys stopping the train. There is a petting zoo for the kids along with pony rides. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. They kept asking if we wanted anything else and would bring it. The only down side was the lack of Bacon, we were there for 930 and apparently they had already ran out and were doing rations. the bacon also appears to be pre cooked and not freshly cooked on the spot. The sausages (hot dogs) in maple syrup were good. the ham, eggs, pickles and deserts were excellent. definitely a place I would go back to. one of the downsides if the maple syrup they sell is not from their establishment. I was told by an employee they use other places as they have too much turn over. kind of a disappointment as theirs that we had with the meal was excellent.

  The food was excellent and our waitress was very pleasant. There wasn't any bacon which is sad but they have everything else. Staff is helpful and friendly and everything is well organized. There's lots of attractions. This sugar shack is best for families with younger kids. For a group of young adults it's fine if you're just there for the food.

  One of the biggest and coolest looking sugar Shacks I've seen around Montreal. You go here for the attractions, and not just the food. The food is ok, but the desserts are better. Service is quick and efficient, but our waitress seemed eager for us to be done and leave. The real fun lies in its multiple attractions such as: carnival style rides (I actually got thrills on a ride), a Ferris wheel, pony rides, farm animals, etc. And you can't forget about the maple taffy with UNLIMITED refills! Definitely a place your kids will enjoy
